Josephine McCarthy
People have repeatedly asked about my work and former partnership with RJ Stewart, and have commented on the occasional similarities in our work. People have also been seeking clarification as to the nature of my role in that work, known as Inner Temple Traditions/Priests and Priestesses during the years 1992 to 2001.
In May 2013 RJ Stewart instigated a smear campaign that is still ongoing (a repeat of similar behaviour in 2005) in an attempt to discredit my work both past and present. here is an example:
" A number of the items on Ms Dunne/McCarthy’s 2005 website were plagiarized or copied with minimal changes from my copyright work issued to students or in my books. After a short time her website was taken down.In 2013 Ms Dunne/McCarthy has made further untruthful claims to owning copyright in the Inner Temple Traditions InnerConvocation ® material, and has re-published her plagiarized or minimally adapted items taken from my original work, stating inaccurately that they are her copyright from 2001. "
Note: The above statement, which is untrue and legally defamatory, was taken down from his site. It has recently (spring 2016) been amended to take out the untrue and legally dangerous accusation of plagiarism, and reposted with untrue accusations of me making claims on his copyright, and claims to have 'taught him'. What claims? Where? What work? And Who cares anyway?
My response is: "who gives a shit what you or I worked on more than twenty years ago". My work has moved on radically and developed in very different directions in the nearly two decades since we parted, as it should have done. And my work in recent years on Quareia, a vast teaching project equivalent to fifteen good sized books, given away on line for free, is self evident of my own magical work.
I suggest that RJ Stewart cease trying to cling to some connection that died a very long time ago, and move onwards to develop his own work properly and with dignity. Either that or go see a therapist.
That smear campaign by RJ Stewart and his friends can be seen here at http://www.innerconvocation.com/images/short-statements.pdf
The so called 'plagiarised work' I am being accused of can be viewed here at innerconvocation.co If you read the 'About Innerconvocation' page, it will fill you in on the crazy dance of the domains.
I challenge anyone to produce examples of RJ Stewart's writing in books or other published work pre-dating these websites (2000) that demonstrate this so called 'plagiarised' work. If RJ Stewart truly thinks his work has been plagiarised, there are legal options he can take. I have boxes and boxes of evidence that I am more than willing to send to a court. This is simply a matter of attempting to smear my name as a writer, which I find immature, ridiculous and time wasting, particularly after all these years.
In response, in 2013 I posted volumes of documented evidence onto this website (see the various pages on this site) that outline my true role in the work that I and he developed equally in the 1990's. It will stay on this site indefinitely for those who feel the need to know, so they can browse at leisure. I do this to protect the integrity and good name of my own current work, and to protect large projects like Quareia from being tainted by this obvious madness.
I have no wish or intention to interfere with the courses, 'product', books or work of RJ Stewart. I ask that Mr Stewart refrain from interfering with my work and cease his childish smear campaign.
It is also time that this misogynist attitude towards women’s work in general, particularly in the occult world, was stopped.

For those who cannot face the mountains of evidence pages on this website...
here is a summary quite eloquently put by someone in a recent blog called Watcher of the Dawn
